Description
Elastrator Rubber Rings made from Natural Latex Rubber: Maxi Rings (2,000 per box)
The Only Environmentally Friendly, Biodegradable Sealing Solution for Slaughterhouses.
In the 1960s the Elastrator Co. of New Zealand developed a system of application that
pioneered the use of latex rings (used traditionally for tail docking and castration
procedures) for the sealing of the intestinal bowel and urinary tracts of slaughtered
livestock. This simple, yet highly effective system led to a dramatic reduction in carcass
contaminations and has since been adopted internationally.
