Description

Size Selection

It’s crucial to ensure the ring fits properly, as the fabric isn’t elastic. With an open hand, there should be some material that extends slightly over the finger to allow for unrestricted movement.

Find the right size for gloves

A. Length Measurement. Measure from the bottom edge of your palm to the tip of your middle finger to determine your length size.

B. Width Measurement. Wrap a tailor’s measuring tape around your dominant hand just below the knuckles (excluding the thumb) and make a fist. This measurement is your hand width.

Adjusting EUROFLEX® Safety Gloves

EUROFLEX® safety gloves come ready for wearing on the left hand (standard for right-handed users). However, they can be easily converted for right-handed wear.

These gloves feature an adjustable and replaceable plastic wristband for a secure fit. You can adjust the length using the press stud. Simply trim any excess strap to achieve the ideal length of 25 mm.

Converting the Glove for Right-Handed Wear

  1. Turn the glove inside out.
  2. Unscrew the press stud holding the wristband.
  3. Move the strap within the channel to the opposite side.
  4. Reattach the press stud with the snaps facing outwards.

Please note: This conversion process may not apply to all EUROFLEX® glove models. Refer to your specific glove’s instructions for details.

Keeping Your EUROFLEX® Gloves Safe and Clean

EUROFLEX® safety gloves are crafted from a special stainless steel ring mesh. Each ring is individually welded for maximum strength. However, even a small number of missing rings compromises the glove’s safety.

To maintain optimal protection, any missing rings require professional repair by a specialised company. These companies possess the expertise to restore the glove to its original condition, ensuring continued safety. Kentmaster offers a reliable repair service to keep your EUROFLEX® gloves in top shape.

If you notice ongoing ring loss in multiple areas, it signifies significant wear and tear on the mesh. This weakens the overall glove structure. In such cases, it’s crucial to discontinue using the gloves. For your safety, a specialist company should assess the extent of damage and determine if repair is a viable option.

Cleaning the Butcher Gloves

For optimal hygiene and safety, thoroughly clean your EUROFLEX® chainmail gloves after each use. This includes the wristband.

Recommended Cleaning Process:

  • Warm Water and Detergent: Use warm water (approximately 50°C) with a commercially available cleaning agent.
  • Vigorous Brushing: Scrub the gloves and wristband thoroughly with a brush to remove dirt and debris.
  • Disinfection: Once dry, disinfect the gloves with a disinfectant commonly used in the food industry (if applicable).
  • Proper Storage: Ideally, hang the gloves in a designated storage cabinet to promote air circulation and prevent moisture build-up.

Never use gloves with damaged or weakened ring fabric. Set aside any such gloves for professional repair or replacement.
